A Note from the Artist

Although art has been a passion since childhood and was pursued as a major at Scripps College, in Claremont, California, it was only in the past few years that it has taken center stage in my life. Watercolor is the choice of medium. The subject matter may be whatever grabs my attention and says, "Paint me!" Often it is the way light strikes a subject that provides the inspiration. I see compositions in the life around me. My paintings, so far, have been florals, still life, and the animals I know and love. This is only the beginning!
